Senior Community Services' Family Caregiver Support Program and Friendship Circle Senior Center offered, at no charge, an opportunity for caregivers to attend informative programs that would help in their role as a family caregiver by presenting a six week series of informative sessions titled Caregivers and Your Loved Ones- "Creative Tools for Caregiving." The Caregiver Academy is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Link to Aging and Disability Resources Delaware County. Caregivers attended informative sessions while care receivers participated in a meaningful activity provided by a Certified Recreational Therapist.
