Low Cost Legal Services

Senior citizens who need legal services have several options. COSA (County Office of Services for the Aging) can assist with referrals to low-cost legal clinics or agencies. COSA is located at 206 Eddystone Avenue, 2nd Floor, Eddystone, A 19022, telephone: 610-490-1300, fax: 610-490-1500. Seniors can also contact Legal Aid of Southeast Pennsylvania-Delaware County Office, 610-874-8421 or toll free at 877-429-5994 between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday thru Thursday. Karen Tyler manages the Senior Citizens Unit, which utilizes volunteer Senior Advocates who are stationed at various community sites in the county. They also have a pro bono referral system. Seniors may also call the Delaware County Bar Association, 335 West Front Street, Media, PA 19063, 610-566-6627 for a referral to an attorney who handles Elder Law issues.
